Was It Your Organization?

When was the last time your organization truly sang?

You’d think mentioning “AI” would be like waving free dessert in front of hungry dinner guests. Instead, most leaders treat it like something suspiciously green on their plate—best avoided or politely poked at before moving on. Sound familiar? I feel people are a bit cautious to talk to me, about AI.

 

There is a hesitation, and I try not to take it personally (but I have been in therapy for years, so it happens). But I so strongly believe that talking about how AI can make your business better, even sing – and when was the last time your company sang – leaders agree to start the conversation.

 

The best part is that I find in the first ten minutes of our first meeting, everyone relaxes. You understand this conversation is going to be about you and your team and your business – and that is where fun begins. I find each person’s business fascinating.

 

I always have. And I am always impressed by what business owners and executives have invested to build their business, the effort they have put in, and the challenges they are working to overcome.

 

And people love to talk about their business – it is always personal – and answering just the right questions that uncover what it is that holds them back, makes them tired, or wonder what could be. It is brilliant.

The true benefit of AI is that it removes the constraints from people and businesses.

Those things that hold you back from achieving what you want from your company or your role and saying out loud what you would do with more time, more money, and less stress.

 

Although I talk about AI throughout our conversations, again, people relax as they realize it is not going to a test or demo of technology jargon – the discussion is constructive, how AI can help relieve the pressures on your business and people to achieve the goals that are more important ot you. Still, people hesitate to have that first conversation.

 

I usually do not want to bother people about what I can do to help them – I expect them to be mind readers. But this is too important. We are in turbulent and troubling times, where the sounds bites can distract us from really matters. At the same time, we work in exciting and energizing times, where innovation is rapid and can be accessed by any business, no matter the size or industry, to make the work better.

 

AI, used thoughtfully (a key differentiator), can not only provide efficiencies with cost savings, but new technologies can also open new revenue opportunities, increase profitability, and build the valuation of a business. The return on investment from most AI solutions is incredible – I need to show it to you (and I do, remember, I am a chartered financial analyst, so ROI is close to my heart). So, what am I asking of you? Have a conversation with me about how AI can resolve the constraints for your business and bring new value.

 

That is what I am asking. You will enjoy the time – I mean it is about you, so what is not to like. And you will gain practical and clear value.
